Welspun World, a fast-growing global conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Mr. Vikram Bector as Director and Group Chief Human Resources Officer, effective October 16, 2023. This strategic addition to its leadership team emphasises Welspun World’s unique dynamics and talent and culture driven work environment, aligning with the company’s overall vision.
As Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr. Bector will lead the charge in reshaping the organisation’s human resources strategies and practices. He will focus on fostering an ownership mindset and driving remarkable changes in technology, capability development, agile partnerships, and cultural stewardship, all geared toward enhancing employee experiences and positively impacting the business.

Before joining Welspun World, Vikram Bector served as President and Group CHRO at Piramal Group, shaping an award-winning high-performance culture. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance, is a Certified Human Resource Executive (CHRE), and is also a member of Canada’s Human Resources Professionals Association. He brings over 35 years of transformative experience in Human Resources, having left his indelible mark on leading global corporations across diverse sectors, including Pharma, Financial Services, Automobiles, Oil and Gas, IT, and Consulting.
