He has confirmed this development through a social media post.
Before this appointment, Vikas Singh was associated with Vedanta as Head of Human Resources. He was with the group for more than 2 years.

Vikas is result driven Human Resource professional with 15+ years of experience in managing human resources teams at multiple unit locations across India to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy. He gained expertise in key HR Functions, Spanning Employee Life Cycle Management, Talent Management, Reward and Recognitions, Learning and Development, and Employee Relations.
Vikas has also worked with UltraTech Cement, and Jaiprakash Associates Limited.
