Prior to this appointment, V.M. Rao was associated with Transrail Lighting Limited as Chief Human Resources Officer for about 2 years.
V.M. Rao is a Seasoned HR professional with over 37 years experience having astute understanding of business requirements and HR orientation to meet and exceed corporate goals through critical insights, acute implementation and excellent people skills.
He has extensive background of Human Resource Management by way of fluid interactions, have made strategic decisions; led, administered and implemented functional activities as a core area. Initiated and managing CSR activities for the organization.
He has gained exposure in multiple Industries viz. EPC/Infrastructure-Oil & Gas, Power (Conventional & Renewable energy), Large Engineering and Continuous Process Manufacturing Sectors -(Tyre, Pulp & Paper, Cables -Power & Telecom, Fertilizers & Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals), Retail, Shipping & logistics etc.
He has also worked with Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, Change Et Al., Sharaf Group, CEAT Tyres Limited, Lanco Solar, Emirates Global Aluminium, Dodsal Engineering & Construction Pvt. Ltd., Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd., RPG Life Sciences, KEC International Ltd., Tata Projects and Aditya Birla Group – Grasim Industries Limited.
