Budget hotel chain Treebo Hotels has announced the appointment of Purvaja Prabhakar as its head of people function.She will be based out of the company’s headquarters at Bengaluru.
With more than 13 years of professional experience in HR ,in her new role, she will be responsible for delivering on the company’s aggressive talent acquisition requirements, nurturing high performing teams, and preserving and strengthening the company’s culture. She will also be responsible for these activities for the company’s SaaS business, Hotel Superhero.

Prior to this appointment she was associated with McKinsey & Company “With 800+ hotels across the country and 15%+ month-on-month growth, we are expanding rapidly. In the process we are also increasing the size of our team significantly. But as we grow we want to ensure we keep our culture, the soul of our organisation intact. With Purvaja’s extensive experience at organisations with great cultural foundations, I am confident she will strengthen our people practices and help build a caring meritocracy,” said Sidharth Gupta, co-founder, Treebo Hotels.
