Tata Technologies to employ 1,000 women engineers in FY24

(PTI): Tata Technologies Ltd., a global provider of engineering and product development digital services, said on Tuesday that as part of its initiative to encourage gender diversity throughout its workforce, the company plans to employ more than one 1000 women engineers in 2023 and 2024.

According to a statement released by Tata Technologies, the business has begun its gender diversity-focused employment drive while simultaneously urging women to join it for the sake of designing a better society.

According to the corporation, its ‘Rainbow’ initiative has focused its interventions on enrolling more women and simultaneously developing support structures for them to be successful.

In accordance with it, there will be concentrated efforts directed at recruiting and onboarding a diverse talent pool, it was said, adding, “The company aims to hire 1000 (plus) women engineers in FY24, to strengthen its gender diversity ratio further, and has identified specific opportunities for women.”

Additionally, it will place an emphasis on professional advancement by “grooming women leaders for tomorrow through the LeaderBridge-WINGS program,” which the firm describes as “a six-month developmental intervention aimed at assisting women employees in further developing their leadership potential and excelling in their careers.”

Tata Technologies also said that it is expanding its staff engagement and debate opportunities “with the aim to break the bias and build a culture of inclusivity from the ground up.”

According to the statement, the corporation is also putting an emphasis on building an atmosphere that is suitable for the growth of a diverse workforce by cultivating a supportive ecosystem and infrastructure.

In February of the previous year, Tata Technologies made the announcement that the company intended to employ at least 1,000 more individuals in FY2023 than its anticipated recruitment of over 3,000 innovators over the course of a 12-month period. This was done in order to satisfy the demands of consumers as the company’s commercial growth increased.
