Do you think that with the rise of diversity and Inclusion at workplace, there is also rise in workplace romance in organisations? If that is so, how do you view this phenomenon?
PB I would say that workplace romances have always been around, and it is only now that we are feeling the need to impose structures on something so natural. Organisations can’t decide how and when people fall in love. Diversity and inclusion cannot be causally associated with romance at the workplace. What we can learn from D&I is that we need to encourage employees to bring their complete authentic selves to work, while we as leaders respect their feelings and interests.
Should HR and leadership keep themselves away from this treating it purely a personal matter as the Gen Z believe in leading life beyond any restrictions?
