Maruti Suzuki India Limited has elevated Salil B Lal to Head- Human Resources effective from April 1, 2024.
Salil B Lal is presently Executive Vice President in Human Resources Vertical. He has been with MSIL for over 12 years.
He has worked in various areas such as Industrial and Employee Relations, Organizational Design, Change Management, HR Strategy Planning & Implementation, and People Development. He started his career as a Management Trainee at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur in 1992.
Before MSIL, Salil was associated with Electrolux, Goodyear, Caparo Engineering, and Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technology.
He is on the HR core committee of the All India Management Association (AIMA) & Member of Advisory Board NHRDN Delhi & NCR Chapter. He is also a Governing Board Member of National Instructional and Media Institute (NIMI) under the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India. He holds a bachelor’s degree of Arts from Ranchi University and MBA from XISS, Ranchi.
