(PTI): Two labourers who were removed from job allegedly stabbed to death the owner of an embroidery unit in Surat, his father and uncle on Sunday, police said, adding that the accused duo, including a minor, were detained.
According to police, Kalpesh Dholakiya (36), a resident of Katgargam, who runs embroidery unit VedantTaxo at Anjani industrial estate in Amroli, was taking rest in the factory with his father Dhanji Dholakiya (61) and maternal uncle Ghanshyam Rojodiya (56) when the accused and his associate walked into the company on Sunday morning and stabbed the owner of the unit, his father and uncle to death.

Hearing the commotion, other labourers rushed to the spot and took the injured to a hospital in Katargam, where the three died.
Amroli police registered a case of murder against the two workers — Ashok Raut, 21, and the 17-year-old accused — both residents of Surat Municipal Corporation Awas at Kosad and natives of Ganjam district in Odisha. Police said an SIT led by DCP Zone 5 Harshad Mehta has been formed.
Amroli police inspector PP Brahmbhatt said, “Kalpesh had employed the two accused around 10 days ago. Sunday morning, Kalpesh along with his father came to the factory and found both of them sleeping. He removed them from the job.”A rift between the owner of the embroidery firm and his employee led to the murder of three persons. A heated argument had taken place between them at that time,” he said.
The CCTV footage showed the accused walking into the factory armed with sharp weapons and stabbing the victims multiple times.
