Rahul Pinjarkar is the new CHRO of Tata Chemicals. He will be based in Mumbai.
He has succeded R Nanda who has superannuated recently. As announced earlier, Nanda will continue to be associated with the Tata Group in an Advisory capacity to facilitate the transition. He spent more than 17 years with the Tata Group.
Selection of Rahul Pinjarkar as the new CHRO of Tata Chemicals from June 1 has come from within Tata Group.
Prior to this joining Rahul was associated with Trent Hypermarkets Ltd as Director -HR for about five years.

With over 24 years of professional experience in industries varied in their endeavours, temperaments, approach and policies, Rahul has spent 14 years as Country HR Head providing leadership to the HR Function that includes facilitating culture of meritocracy, improving HR functional delivery, fostering healthy industrial & employee relations and managing the change process.
His expertise lies in creating a competitive advantage through people and further transforming a company to become an employer of choice.
Rahul is an active thought leader in the area of HR and Organisational Development in external forums like NHRDN, NASSCOM, CII, ICT ACADEMY, WORLD HRD CONGRESS, CLO Summit and Retail .
Rahul has also worked with Novartis, Philips, ICICI Prudential and Saint Gobain.
