Persuasion is an effective technique that can be applied both favourably and unfavourably. We may improve our communication and negotiating skills in all spheres of our lives, from our interpersonal relationships to our professional careers, by comprehending the psychology of persuasion.

Introduction

The process of trying to persuade another individual or group of individuals to alter their opinions or actions is known as persuasion (Alslaity & Tran, 2021). Convincing someone else to do something or accept an idea is the process of persuasion. Persuasion is used in the workplace to recruit team members, market products, and boost output. Strong persuasion abilities enable an employee to motivate others to achieve success. Employees in every industry need to be able to persuade others. A significant skill that can be useful in a variety of industries is the capacity to persuade, convince, and motivate people to take action. Three different aspects of workplace persuasion are cooperation, consensus, and reciprocation (Jena & Pradhan, 2018).
