Nimrata Kapoor has joined Plaksha University, Mohali as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
She has confirmed this development to Business Manager.
On this appointment, Nimrata says,” After a good corporate career and a career break of a couple of years, I re-invented myself to make myself relevant for individuals and organisations by pivoting to become a career coach and an HR advisor. Joining Plaksha as CHRO after a 12 year break from my last corporate job is testament that skills are truly the new currency and there is no substitute to not being relevant.”

With nearly two decades of experience – mix of Consulting, Coaching and Corporate experience, her experience includes partnering with Randstad Risesmart in addition to HR leadership roles across APAC and India for JP Morgan, Headstrong (now GENPACT Headstrong), and Reliance Industries Ltd.
Nimrata holds a master’s in human resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and certifications in MBTI and Appreciative Coaching from Fielding Graduate University, USA. She is a gold medallist in maths from Banaras Hindu University and a Board-Certified Independent Director accredited by the Ministry of Commerce, India.
Her mantra is to simplify, ignite inspiration, and facilitate transformation for individuals and organizations.
