An international seminar on ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI): Applications & Misapplications was organized by Knowgen Education Services at Calcutta International Clubon 27th July 2024 in Kolkata.
Professionals, Students, consultants & educationists from various organizations attended the seminar. Mr. Biswajit Matilal, Senior Vice President (Corporate Communication), Birla Corporation, and Mr. Anindya Banerji, SPOC, E-waste, WEBEL were Guests of Honor.
The eminent speakers included philanthropists, AI tool users & AI project implementers in Human Resources & Marketing. Sugata Haldar – Director, Vriksh Consulting, Viraj Lal, Supply Chain Risk Advisor, Resilinc, UK, Chancal Kumar, Sr. Manager (HR), Union Bank of India, Animesh Goswami, Managing Partner, Confiance Mobility Ltd, Hirak Bhattacharya, Member, Harvard Business Review, Advisory Council (by special invitation) and Jayanta Biswas, FIE were the key speakers.
The speakers discussed the pros & cons of Artificial Intelligence. It was concluded that AI is a reality, and professionals from all fraternities must use it as a tool and reequip themselves.
An interesting part of the event was a paper presentation segment wherein academicians, researchers, practitioners, and students participated enthusiastically. The Public Relations Council of India (Kolkata Chapter) sponsored the event. The program was conceptualized by Rajib Kumar and Suvendu Narayan Roy, directors.
