EAR & NIPM Jaipur organized HR Conclave 24 at Jaipur

A HR Conclave was organized at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur by the Employers’ Association of Rajasthan (EAR) in collaboration of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Jaipur chapter on 24th august’ 2024.
K K Vishnoi, Minister of State for Skill, Employment& Entrepreneurship, Government of Rajasthan as Chief Guest shared the government plans to create various product-specific hubs in Rajasthan under the scheme of ‘one district one product’. Also, he emphasized that it’s time to reap the benefits of geographic dividends of the younger pool of talent in the country by appropriately equipping them with skills.

Guest of Honour, Vishwesh Kulkarni, Founder Director of Yashaswi Group, Pune, and immediate Past President of NIPM highlighted the requirement that business leaders and human resource managers should be sensitive towards employees and echoed the mantra that a well-looked-after employee will certainly take care of business and its customers.

The inaugural function was presided over by N K Jain, President, The Employers’ Association of Rajasthan, and Co-chaired by Girjesh Gour Chairman, NIPM, Jaipur Chapter.

Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Trichy, keynote speaker on Conclave theme ‘HR leadership in the evolving business landscape left the audience spellbound by pressing the need to connect the present leadership thought process with ancient wisdom.This was followed by another trailblazing presentation on HR future-proofing by Dinesh Bhardwaj VP- HR & IR of Shyam Steel Industries.

Anil Kaushik Corp. Advisor HR and Employment laws spoke on intersecting the need of a robust legal framework for the rapidly emerging employment segment of Gig/ Platform workers and other post-Covid employment scenarios of work from Anywhere or flexi working.

Two panel discussions on AI impact on HR and the Financial impact of new labor codes on Employees/ employers were the focal points of discussion where panelists (Dharampal Singh, Addl. Labour Commissioner, Ram Niwas Bairwa, Former, Regional PF commissioner and Alok Fatehpuria, Advocate) put forward the various aspects of every day evolving technology and upcoming legal updates. A session on Apprenticeship framework in the country was explained by Asst. Director BOAT and participants were amused by the tips shared by Practicing Psychiatrist Dr. Sumit Gakhar on mental health, especially in work workplace. A session by Rishabh Jain, Social media Influencer and Founder of LLA (YouTube) on key differences in ensuing labor codes and existing labor law was the show stopper.
Other sessions were on ESG- A new way of Corporate Life by CS Sharma Jt. Director, QCI, and new concept of HR strategy -tapping on organizational consciousness by Dr Nidhi Vashisht, a practicing OB scientist. Prof. Dhiraj Kumar, Director- Academics UID (Kanawati University) and former Director NID, Bhopal has taken the participants through the concept of Design thinking in their decision-making process. Kshitij Sachan of Keka highlighted its software’s impact on managing HR operations.

The Conclave convener Shish Ram Shivrayan extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the stake holders and the organizing team. He said it was a very fulfilling day as they could organize this complimentary event for the younger fraternal members.

More than 300 HR professionals including practicing managers, consultants, academicians, and governmental
officers participated in the conclave.
