There are managers who collect templates from companies that they have worked in and try to force fit them into their current organisations, but that will not work as the domains, culture and business agendas are different.

Do you think that Business Organisations now look for certain new competencies for managers? If so, what is your perspective in this respect?

TM Business organisations are a microcosm of the environment. Change is a constant for organisations, without which they are doomed. To ensure that business organisations are equipped to handle the new normal, they have to first understand what is their need and ensure that they fill this gap with new skills which are futuristic. But this is not all, they have to ensure that the existing talent that they have is also future ready by equipping them with new skills and competencies to be successful.

Can you describe about such essential skills/ competencies new age mangers must have? Are such competencies differing when it comes to HR function?
