Need to go back to basics and simplify things

Need to go back to basics and simplify things
HR practitioners have to walk a tight rope of balancing "business performance" with "People performance" along with allied softer issues like overall wellbeing, aspirations etc.

What issues do you see HR should focus in 2023?

BS The last three years has been very challenging due to Covid-19 which has led to :

  • Job losses, deaths, poor health (physical as well as mental health). People who have survived this turmoil are still insecure and anxious of future (seeing no end to this pandemic).
  • Organisations reinventing their business models including employee benefits etc.

So, I see that HR practitioners have to walk a tight rope of balancing “business performance” with “People performance” along with allied softer issues like overall wellbeing, aspirations etc.

I believe an organisation with transparency and fairness will be an ultimate winner.
