What issues do you see HR should focus in 2023?
BS The last three years has been very challenging due to Covid-19 which has led to :
- Job losses, deaths, poor health (physical as well as mental health). People who have survived this turmoil are still insecure and anxious of future (seeing no end to this pandemic).
- Organisations reinventing their business models including employee benefits etc.
So, I see that HR practitioners have to walk a tight rope of balancing “business performance” with “People performance” along with allied softer issues like overall wellbeing, aspirations etc.
I believe an organisation with transparency and fairness will be an ultimate winner.
