Myntra, the Flipkart-owned fashion e-commerce company, has appointed its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective March 1 according to a report published in ET.
Myntra chief executive Nandita Sinha announced the appointment in an email sent to the company’s employees. “He will be responsible for steering Myntra’s people charter, in alignment with the company’s business goals,” Sinha’s email said.
“With close to 25 years of experience, Govind has a proven track record of leading large teams across multiple high-growth organisations and fostering an environment that unlocks people’s potential to its best,” it said.
Govindraj, currently Vice President-HR at Flipkart, will replace Nupur Nagpal, who is exiting Myntra.
An experienced HR Leader across multiple high growth organisations and multi geography. Govindraj has lead large teams and influenced the organisation to create an environment that facilitates developing the employee potential.
In the roles as HR Leader in India, Singapore (APAC region) and Dubai (Middle East region) he has been part of the Senior Leadership as an Influencer and Trusted Advisor and worked in high growth fast paced organisations and thrive in dealing with ambiguity. He has led and involved multiple Transformation projects.
Govindraj has also worked with DAMAC Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, NBC Universal, Oracle Singapore and Cognizant Technology Solution.
