Microsoft India has appointed Arun Kakatkar as General Manager-HR for India and South Asia.
He has succeeded Ira Gupta who was associated as HR Head and has quit.
In his new role Arun is expected to leverage his multifaceted experience to drive organizational excellence, foster talent development, and support Microsoft India’s strategic objectives.

Before this appointment, Arun was associated with Kalyani Group as President leading corporate business strategy.
Arun has also worked earlier with Microsoft, January 2008 to October 2011. as Director – People & Organization Capability.
With over 26 years of extensive experience, Arun is an experienced and seasoned leader with diverse experience across specialized functions, industries, and geographies. Deep understanding and experience in business strategy, operations, strategic change management, people leadership, organization effectiveness, leadership development, and business leadership.
Arun has also worked with TE Connectivity, Flextronics, Ingersoll Rand, among others.
