Manish Kumar has joined Paytm Payments Bank as Chief Human Resources Officer.
In his new role at Paytm Payments Bank, Kumar is expected to foster a robust organizational culture aligning with efficient HR strategies to drive the company’s growth plans. Bringing along rich leadership experience in HR, He will lead the bank’s human resource strategy, focusing on culture transformation, employee engagement, leadership development, and change management.
Before this appointment, Kumar was associated with UBI services as Chief People Officer.

Kumar began his career at Reliance Capital as Vice President – Human Resources and went on to work across Alkem Laboratories, IDFC Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank, RBS, Ziqitsa Health Care, Poonawalla Corp, and CIEL.
Before joining Reliance Capital, Kumar worked with ICICI Bank in Mumbai as the Chief Manager, Mannesmann Demag (Indomag Steel Technology Limited) in Delhi as the Manager, and Kodak India Limited in Delhi as the Officer in charge of personnel and administration.
Beyond his expertise in HR, Kumar demonstrates a keen interest in areas such as Diversity and inclusion and governance and risk. He serves as a Director on the board of a social enterprise and as an observer on the board of a healthcare company.
