Manika Awasthi joins Compass Group India as Chief People Officer (Head of Human Resources)

Manika Awasthi has joined Compass Group India as Chief People Officer (Head of Human Resources).

She has confirmed this development through a social media post.

Prior to this appointment, Manika Awasthi was associated with IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) as Vice President Human Resources for about 8 years.

With around 22+ years of rich professional experience across different industries and several domains in Human Resources in a global and local context, Manika has led HR for various businesses, have lead HR for a large blue collared enterprise, Proficient in recruitment strategies, sourcing approaches and retention best practices.

She has set up and run HR Shared Service Centers’ (for employee life cycle processes, policies and compliance), Talent Management (Performance Management, Succession Planning Career Mentoring, Competency Framework, Leadership Development, Capability Development) and Corporate level HR.

She has experienced in Leading Women Leadership Networks for a geography with the agenda of driving gender diversity and for ensuring organizations continue to grow and invest in their women workforce.

Manika Awasthi has also worked with Sapient and GE Capital International Services.
