RV The managers of today are young and agile and have the ability to handle different skill sets as they like exploring in their jobs. They are more like project managers who have done different tasks in their roles as individual contributors. They are fast track performers and are impatient for growth.
Since they have grown fast in the roles, they want to see faster results too. This will always be market dependent. They will have edge for the future challenges as the market is agile and so are they. What they will be lacking is experience and people handling skills.
