Everything that has a beginning has an end. However, there are patches of belief in all religions and all religious perspectives have an element of eternity. There are few things which never had a beginning, therefore, will never have an end. It is the bounded situation of existence which is of such fascination to so much research and thought. That which is eternal has a logic of its own.
It matters differently for the existence of things which have a beginning and things which have an end. There are various stages of existence: birth, early stage of growth to maturity, and then decline to gradual passing away. These matters have been subjected to various reflections and have been dealt with by many knowledgeable people who have written on it or expounded on it orally. The reflections of this are a subject matter of much discourse and have given rise to different schools of opinion. That would be a subject matter of much separate analysis and thought.
