You have emerged as one of the most promising and shining stars in HR in one of the largest PSUs in India NTPC and have proved your mettle multiple times in multiple fields alongside your core. Tell us shortly about what keeps you ticking despite certain challenges and how do you see yourself in your dream role?
KS It is said that the journey is more important than the destination and mine has been pretty fulfilling. It has been full of scars, bruises, and failures as well, but every bit of this roller-coaster ride has been worthwhile. As a growing-up child, I was a voracious reader and a ‘curious ‘why-why’ girl. I would read a lot of books, and that meant book of all sorts ranging from classic English novels to unabridged Shakespearean dramas, and from comics to classic Hindi poetry. Books became my natural elixir.
In course of time, I realised I have a voice inside me that refuses to rest. It yearns to express through various mediums. Sometimes the medium would be theatre, dancing, singing, painting, public...
