Hero Vired appoints Samra Rahman as Head- People and Culture

Hero Vired, India’s premium LearnTech company for higher education aspirants and professionals, today announced the appointment of Samra Rahman as the Head, People, and CultureAs a member of the core leadership team, Samra will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining diverse talent, strengthening growth opportunities for them, and driving an agile culture driven by productivity and accountability to aid Hero Vired’s next phase of growth.

With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and People Management, Samra has a proven track record in ensuring greater alignment of the human resource function with overall business goals to achieve growth. She has demonstrated expertise in recruitment, retention, employee satisfaction, rewards systems, and L&D initiatives for senior leadership and the staff.

Before joining Hero Vired, Samra was the Chief Human Resource Officer at Centum Learning.

Her notable achievement has been building Digiminds Career Solutions (EQVIP) from scratch under the Bharti Group banner to bridge the existing gap between the ‘available’ and ’employable’ talent pool. She has also been associated with reputed companies such as HCL Technologies, IBM, and Tata Teleservices in the past.

Samra holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master’s degree in English Literature from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University.
