With The Govt .making preparations to implement 4 new labour codes, the Ministry of Labour and Employment is open to reviewing some provisions in two of them — The Code on Wages and The Code on Social Safety — which have led to considerations amongst employers and trade representatives, according to a report of Indian Express.

The Labour Ministry is also learnt to have held conferences with representatives of gig and platform aggregators, who’ve pitched for redefining the definition of turnover.
In accordance with The Code on Social Safety, aggregators using gig staff should contribute 1-2 per cent of annual turnover for social safety, with the whole contribution not exceeding 5 per cent of the quantity payable by the aggregator.
