Gaurav Saini has joined Wadhwani Foundation as Global Chief Human Resource Officer.
He has confirmed this development through a social media post stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Global Chief Human Resource Officer at Wadhwani Foundation. An edtech high growth organisation for the social good.”

Prior to this appointment,Gaurav was associated with HMD Global, as the GM HR (CHRO)- India, MEA, APAC and Global Lead Business Transformation for about At HMD Global for about seven years where he led the HR function for the CORE Business Unit ( India/MEA & APAC region). Global Lead for the Business Transformation.
Gaurav is a HR & Business Transformation Leader at HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, with about 23 years of global HR experience in the technology, IT Services, Financial, FMCG and telecom sectors. He led the HR function for the core business unit across India, MEA, and APAC regions, covering 38 countries and serving over 15000+ employees. He is also the Global Lead for the Business Transformation, responsible for aligning the HR and business objectives, driving change and innovation, and enhancing the organizational performance and capabilities.
Gaurav’s core competencies are HR with strong Business Acumen & Empathy. He has gained expertise in HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, change management, reorganization, wellness, happiness, and HR artificial intelligence.
Gaurav has also worked with Happiest Mind Technologies, IMImobile, Tata AIA Life Insurance, Aon Hewitt and Aviva.
