It is said that during this circling the sky, the bird is torn between its yearning to hurtle into the flame and the fear of facing its own end. It finally decides on what it is destined for – Renewal. It plunges itself into the eternal fire, only to rise again in a new, renewed Avtar and to live for another four hundred years.

I was reminded about this story in the context of the challenges HR is facing during the Covid-19 crisis.
