On March 12, 2022, The Central Board of Trustees, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (“EPFO“) in its 230th meeting recommended 8.10% interest on provident fund deposits for the financial year 2021-22. The interest rate would be officially notified in the official gazette of Government of India following which EPFO would credit the rate of interest into its subscribers’ accounts.
