New Delhi: Dr Kalyan Sagar Nippani is set to be next Director (HR) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a PSU under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Principal General Manager in the same organisation.
Prior to this , Nippani held the position of principal general manager at BSNL. He, a civil servant served in various capacities such as circle head of finance, vertical head of accounts & ERP, HoD& chief general manager National Academy of Telecom Finance & Management (NATFM).

Nippani has been recommended for the post of Director (HR) of BSNL from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 25. Out of 11 candidates, six candidates were from BSNL, two candidates from Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) and one each from NBCC (India) Limited, Indian Telecommunication Service and Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.
