Disciplinary Inquiry must for termination due to misconduct : Meghalaya High Court

Meghalaya High Court in Shri. Senora Johny Arengh vs. The Garo Hills Autonomous District Council, WP(C) No. 248 of 2021,on October 17, 2024,  reinstated an employee who was terminated for misconduct without a disciplinary inquiry, stating that an inquiry must be conducted before any action is taken against the employee to ensure compliance with the principles of natural justice.
