Having done intense research work on Passion in leadership behaviour, Pls share what led you to take up this study and how you relate it tothe HR world. Also, pls enlighten that in balancing emotion as well as logic where does passion stand in deciding careers?
NB I have always believed that one learns best when you see success stories around you. I was curious to find out what makes leaders stand out, work with zeal and passion, and drive their passion to their teams, without getting burnt out and giving up. I soon realised that it was best to learn from the leaders themselves and thus began my learning journey. I wanted to take the learnings to many aspiring professionals who will benefit from the takeaways. My research helped in getting an in-depth insight into what matters to leaders, and how passion gets instilled in them. It was also interesting to know that each leader has their determination to work towards continuous improvement and awareness to not let the passion douse away.
