June 2, 2022: Air India on Wednesday announced Voluntary Retirement Scheme for employees who have either attained the age of 55 years or completed 20 years of continuous service.
As per announcement signed by Suresh Tripathi CHRO, scheme provides additional benefit of age relaxation from 55 to 40 years for permanent employees belonging to the categories of cabin crew, clerical and allied and unskilled.

Employees applying for voluntary retirement between june1st and 31stjuly will be paid ex gratia amount as one time benefit, However the amount has been disclosed in the scheme announcement.
Also Incentive over and above the Ex gratia amount will be paid to the employees applying for VRS between 1st June and 30th June.
Employees have been advised to get in touch with their General Manager-Personnel of respective region for process and benefits computation details.
