Pandemic encouraged Human Resource Departments in organisations to work towards a more empowering & entrepreneurial culture aligned to core mission and strategy of the organisation.

Nobody was prepared for first or second wave of covid-19. But everyone had to face it. Both traditional as well as new age organisations had almost equal gaps in this readiness to face the pandemic. But then, as we saw pandemic we also witnessed new rules of the game such as empathy, innovation, agility, empowerment & linking purpose of the individual to the core purpose of the organisation. Recently Leena Nair, the CHRO of Unilever, asserted, “Everything we had previously talked about as an organisation came to the forefront: digitization, agility, resilience, and sustainability. What the pandemic did for organisations and for Unilever is to accelerate that future. I saw this tremendous business agility and personal agility everywhere-for example, implementing agile methodologies and mindsets across the organisation.”
