The truth of the matter is that Human Resource Management awaits an integrative thinker who would piece together the different strands of input affecting management literature analysis.

In most fields of management, such as Finance, Manufacturing, Operations Research, Managerial Economics, or much else there is some formal training required. This training is done in a structured manner and assessed rigorously through a formal teaching system. When it comes to Human Resource Management, there is an experience which needs to be noted and recognized. Human Resource Management itself is a collection of many subcomponents like Industrial Relations, Industrial Law, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, Recruitment, Promotion, and much else. In some of these, there is technicality involved (such as Industrial Relations) where formal training is required. However, when it comes to Organizational Behavior, there are strong influences from disciplines such as Psychology, Sociology, History, Political Science, and more.
