Vodafone Idea in a communication to National stock Exchange informed the appointment of Gurucharan Singh Gandhi as Chief Human Resource Officer, effective April 1, 2025, succeeding Suvamoy Roy Choudhary, who will retire on March 31, 2025.
Mr. Gurucharan Singh Gandhi has over 23 years of experience across different domains of Human Resources in Financial Services and Fashion Retail. He joins the Company from Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited where he is heading HR for Madura Fashion and Lifestyle. Prior to this, he worked with Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance and has also headed the business center of expertise for Learning & Development for Aditya Birla Capital.

Gurucharan has a strong track record of driving people-centric strategies and fostering a dynamic work culture. His appointment comes at a crucial time as Vodafone Idea continues its efforts to enhance employee experience and build a resilient and future-ready organization.
He has also worked with Aditya Birla Capital, Max Life Insurance Company Limited, Bharti AXA Life Insurance, and Nicholas Piramal India Limited.
