Raj Karunakaran has joined IFF as Head Of Human Resources- Indian Subcontinent.
He has confirmed this development through a social media post saying, “I am thrilled to share that I’ve joined IFF as the Head of HR – Indian Subcontinent.

About his new role, Raj Stated, “In this role, I’ll be leading an incredibly talented HR team, working alongside our business leaders to shape people-centric strategies that support the growth of our business groups (Taste, Scent, Health & Biosciences, Food Ingredients) in Indian Subcontinent, and our largest Global Business Services Center in Hyderabad. My endeavor will be on fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, growth, ensuring an exceptional employee experience while contributing to IFF’s growth plans and continued success.”
Before this appointment, Raj was associated with Cargill as Business HR Leader – APAC (Cargill Animal Nutrition And Health).
As a senior Human Resources professional with a progressive career span of 25 years, Raj has gained exposure and cross cultural experience in handling the entire gamut of HR including strategy formulation, organization development, HR business partnering, culture building interventions, change management, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management.
Raj has also worked with Philips, AstraZeneca India and Fidelity Investments among others.
