Foster an Environment Where Women Can Thrive Professionally
Despite all barriers to women's career advancement worldwide, women continue to exhibit resilience, innovation, and strategic acumen in professional settings. They are actively reshaping the parameters of achievement, contesting established norms, and forging a path toward a future.

What are the most significant challenges/barriers that women face in today’s workplace? What has been your experience?

AM Being a woman and a working mother myself, I have realized that we face some unique set of challenges. The top 5 in my opinion are :-

1. Work-Life Balance Struggles : Women in general often shoulder a disproportionate amount of household and childcare responsibilities, making it a constant tussle or a conflict within oneself on career and home. Simple example – most women rush to reach home after work and forego a networking dinner which could further their career.

2. Maternity Discrimination : The reluctance to hire or promote women who may become pregnant persists, despite protective laws. Employers often view maternity leave as a setback, rather than a natural part of a diverse and inclusive workforce, leading to discrimination against women of childbearing age.
