NDTV Group, an Indian media conglomerate, has appointed Purva Misra as Chief People Officer effective from Sep. 3. 2024, replacing Gaurav Shah who headed the HR function.
Before this appointment, Purva was associated as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of India Today Group and as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of India Today Media Institute.

With over 25 years of experience in human resources, Purva has managed diverse talent across 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, is a certified Executive Coach, and has worked across a spectrum of professional services, including media, digital content, management consulting, e-commerce, and healthcare. She brings a background in leadership development, executive search, training and succession, restructuring and change, mergers and acquisitions, and international workforce relations. She has done extensive research on the best employers and people practices that help organizations thrive. Besides her passion for people, she has driven sustained revenue growth.
Having done MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, Purva has also worked with MakeMyTrip.com, Max Healthcare and Max Neeman and Aon-Hewitt.
