Termination due to marital status of women amounts to gender discrimination: SC

Supreme Court in Union Of India and Others vs. Ex. Lt. Selina John [CA No. 1990/2019], held that women cannot be terminated based on their marital status and termination of the employment of a woman because of her marriage is a coarse case of gender discrimination and inequality.
