Renu Bohra joins National Engineering Industries as Chief of HR

Renu Bohra has joined the National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings) as Chief of Human Resources in January 2024.

Renu Bohra has a strong management experience of 3 decades and a proven track record of strategic-business partnering, culture-building and organizational transformation.  She has worked in multinational companies and Indian public sector companies, spread across key sectors of Logistics & Supplychain, MEP Services, Healthcare Services, and Manufacturing.  In her previous stint, she was Chief People Office of DB Schenker in India and Indian Subcontinent for 13 years.  Prior to Schenker, she was associated with Blue Star Limited, HSCC, BALCO and NALCO.

Renu Bohra is an alumna of IIT Roorkee where she was awarded Glod Medal in M.Phil.  She has done executive courses in strategy and general management from IIM-C and IIM-A. She is a trained executive-coach on brain-based Coaching, a certified psychological counsellor as well as a certified OD Practitioner from ISABS. She is also a certified independent Director.  For her thought leadership, Renu was in Asia’s 100 Power Leaders HR 2022 by White Page International.  The ET Prime nominated her in their HR Leader of the Year award category in 2023.

In addition to HR domain expertise, Renu’s career is enriched with first-hand experiences of Disinvestment, M&A, New Factory set-up, Formation of new organisation entity in emerging market, investigation and redressal of POSH cases, in addition to a variety of internal global HR projects.  She has a strong Industry-Institute connect and she is currently Vice President of NHRDN Delhi Chapter.

Renu is passionate about people & culture and partners closely with the leadership team to build a culture of mutual trust and performance excellence.  The topics of DEI, Future of work and CSR are close to her heart.  Under her stewardship, Schenker India got Great Place to Work certifications, and won the Economic Times Best Workplace for Women in 2021 and 2022.  Her pioneering workplace interventions got Innovative Best Practices Award, 2019 for “Women at Workplace” by the UN Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI).
