Ajax Engineering, India’s leading Concreting equipment manufacturer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Peeris as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this pivotal role, Joseph will spearhead the company’s human resources function and contribute to the strategic growth and development of the organization. Joe, as he is popularly called, brings with him an impressive track record of 26 years of hands-on experience and expertise in various facets of Human Resources. His diverse background includes proficiency in Strategic Business support, Employee Communication, Recruitment, Compensation and benefits management, Developing HR Processes and policies, HRIS, Performance Management, Talent Development, Employee relations, and Training and development. Over the years, he has successfully managed HR operations in industries such as Metals & Mining, Refinery, Energy, Automotive, Auto Component, and Engineering.
Throughout his illustrious career, Joseph has held senior leadership roles in esteemed organizations, including ELGI Equipment Limited, Vedanta Resources Plc, Hinduja Group – Ashok Leyland, Jindal Steel and Power, and Renault Nissan Alliance India Private Limited. This exposure to both Indian Conglomerates and Global Multinational Corporations has honed his understanding of integrating HR functions with business strategy, implementing innovative initiatives, and nurturing talent.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Madras. His dedication to continuous learning is evident through various certifications and credentials, including being a Certified Professional Coach by Accenture Institute for High Performance. He has also served as an Interview panel member for IIM’s student admissions, reflecting his commitment to nurturing the next generation of HR professionals.
