Schneider Electric appoints Binu Philip as CHRO

Schneider Electric has appointed of Binu Philip  as the Zone vice president of HR (CHRO) for greater India.

Philip succeeds Rachna Mukherjee, who has been with the company for over eight years and retired on December 31, 2022.

He has been with Schneider Electric for over seven years, leading critical projects such as the merger and acquisition of the L&T electrical automation business by Schneider Electric. Prior to this appointment Philip was associated as vice president HR for the company’s secure power division’s international operations.

With over 36,000 employees, India is one of Schneider Electric’s four major hubs and is equipped for further growth as a technology and digital talent hub.

As a post-graduate in human resources, he has over 30 years of experience in various industry domains such as IT & digital technologies, commercial operations, telecom, and technology services (MA PM &IR).

Philip previously held senior HR leadership positions at Microsoft Corporation, Aditya Birla Group (Idea Cellular), and RPG Enterprises (Harrisons Malayalam Plantations Ltd).

Binu is a post-graduate in Human Resources (MA – PM & IR).
