How do you visualize the future of HR in Indian as well as global context?

BR There are a lot of uncertainties going into 2023, and more variables may get added to the mix as we go forward. So certain prediction is not a good idea. As per Bob Johansen, the futurist “the future will reward clarity but punish certainty”. Having said that, human nature remains the same in many ways, and HR should keep that in mind. The themes of employee engagement, nurturing talent, and developing leaders will remain critical. What will change is our approach to these and other subjects.

  • A more flexible, agile approach that would allow for quick tweaks and results.
  • A wider approach to dealing with priorities, as they can change overnight.
  • A different set of parameters to evaluate and groom talent and leaders who bring characteristics like agile learning, quick execution, resilience and failure management in a stronger way.
