How do you decipher the Gen Z behavioural traits and their expectations from employers?
VK A new generation Gen Z is entering the workforce. Generation Z, the age cohort born between 1997 and 2012. Unlike their predecessors, i.e., the millennials, Gen Z’ers are raised in the lap of technological advancements and grown up with smart-phones, social media, emoji-speak, helicopter parenting, and no expectation of privacy. They are not “bad,” just different.
Generation Z is also addressed as “next generation”, or the ‘digital natives’ or ‘Facebook generations’ or ‘the iGeneration’. They are found to live their lives on different principles in comparison to previous generations. They are born amidst the upgraded techno-environment and love to be surrounded within it.
