Technology is here and is revolutionizing the world, making relentless change the only constant. In the Digital Darwinism era that we live in today, organisations that do not adapt to these technology-led changes will find themselves on the path to extinction. And those who adapt in an agile fashion will thrive amid aggressive competition and cluttered markets. While digitalization and digital transformation efforts have been strong on the consumer and business processes fronts, digitalization of the HR function has been largely lacking.
Things are changing post-Covid. Earlier, only parts of recruitment and performance appraisal were digitalized while other areas of human resource management weren’t. After the pandemic, several organisations have gone digital in areas such as new employee onboarding, employee engagement, learning and development, job interview, employee documentation, etc.
