Uma Rao has joined Granules India Ltd. as Chief Human Resource Officer out of Hyderabad.
Confirming the development with Business Manager Uma said that now in her new role she will be responsible for leading entire HR functions of the organisation.
Prior to this appointment Uma Rao was associated with Ashok Leyland as Vice President- HR for about seven years.

HR Professional with well-rounded HR experience in multiple sectors like Petroleum, IT, Telecom, FMCG, Manufacturing and in leading MNCs and Indian Companies , Uma Has worked very closely with Business in managing mission critical projects and assignments and provided a strategic perspective to business. She is Passionate about keeping up her own learning curve while developing and coaching team and extended teams.
Uma has also worked with HIL Ltd, Mars, IBM, Idea, TCS and HPCL. She is also TISS Alumni.
