The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) enrolled 14.41 members in March 24 as per data released by the body.
According to the data, around 7.47 lakh new members enrolled with EPFO in March. Around 57% of the members enrolled comes from the age group of 18-25. It may indicate that these persons might be first-time employees entering in to job market.

Simultaneously 11.80 lakh members exited and subsequently rejoined EPFO after changing jobs and have got their accumulations transferred to new accounts instead of withdrawal.
Out of the 7.47 lakh new members, around 2 lakh enrolled are women.
Around 43% of the total net membership additions came from expert services which are manpower contractors, service providers, security services and others.
